Espanol
Heads-up: This program is run by JLCPCB / EasyEDA's Chinese community site (OSHWHub / 立创开源硬件平台). The recruitment pages and ambassador chat groups are primarily in Mandarin. Workable for Chinese-speaking students; harder lift for English-only students.

What it is

EasyEDA is a free, browser-based PCB design tool (schematics + board layout), owned by JLCPCB. The Campus Promotion Ambassador program recruits high school and college students to promote EasyEDA and its sister sites (OSHWHub / OSHWLab) on their campus — running intro sessions, helping the on-campus electronics club use the tool, and connecting instructors to the free education edition.

Who it's actually useful for

  • Students majoring in electrical/computer engineering, electronics, or CS with a hardware bent.
  • Members or officers of a campus maker / electronics / robotics club.
  • Students who already use EasyEDA and would be promoting it anyway.
  • Comfortable reading and writing in Mandarin (program comms are in Chinese).

What you actually do

  • Run intro / training sessions on EasyEDA at your school's electronics or maker club.
  • Refer instructors so they can apply for the free EasyEDA Education edition.
  • Help club members post their projects to OSHWHub.
  • Pitch JLCPCB / EasyEDA as a sponsor for campus electronics competitions and events.

What you get

  • Official ambassador certificate (resume line, not a paycheck).
  • Early access to new EasyEDA features.
  • Limited-edition branded merch.
  • $20 JLCPCB coupon for every instructor referral who signs up for the education edition. Coupons apply to JLCPCB orders (PCBs, assembly, 3D prints) — not cash.

What to skip

  • Don't treat this as a paid internship — it isn't. The compensation is coupons + merch + certificate.
  • Don't sign up if you don't already use the tool or have an active club to promote it in. There's no audience-building support.
  • Don't expect English-language onboarding.

Free alternative if you just want the tool

You don't need to be an ambassador to use EasyEDA — it's free at easyeda.com (English) without any program signup. The ambassador track is only worth it if you're already organizing on-campus electronics activity.

How to apply

Apply through OSHWHub: <page url="https://oshwhub.com/"/>. Look for "校园推广大使" (Campus Promotion Ambassador) recruitment posts under the activities / 活动 section, or contact OSHWHub support directly. Application requires student ID verification.
