Ride local buses free with a Sierra College student ID
Sierra College students can ride partner transit systems at no cost by showing a current Sierra College ID with an ASSC Student Activity Sticker. The program covers students enrolled in credit and noncredit classes (source).
What it costs
$0. Show the stickered ID to the driver when you board.
Who can use it
- Currently enrolled Sierra College students (credit or noncredit)
- ID must be current and carry the ASSC Student Activity Sticker for the term you are riding in
Partner transit agencies and routes
Rocklin Campus
- Roseville Transit — Route E (every 2 hours)
- Placer County Transit (PCT) — Routes 10 and 20 (hourly), Route 50 (every 2 hours)
Nevada County Campus (Grass Valley)
- Nevada County Connects — Route 4 (twice per hour)
Tahoe-Truckee Campus
- Tahoe-Truckee Area Regional Transit (TART) — Hwy 89 route (twice per hour)
How to get the sticker
Visit the ASSC / Student Life office on your campus with proof of enrollment. The sticker is reissued each term.
